What Clients Say...
Carol visited our home last week to help us work with our dog, Reggie, who is a 2 year old Pit Bull/Boxer mix.
Ever since our son was born 4 months ago, Reggie had been ignoring his obedience commands in the presence of the
baby, causing us a great deal of distress. We were losing confidence that we'd ever be able to have him out and
about while our son was growing up, and had had a very negative experience with a dog trainer in the past who used
"dominance" methods. Seeing no other option, we decided to seek out a positive dog trainer, and hired Carol to try
and help us.
We were blown away! Carol was so patient and knowledgeable. She answered promptly and confidently to all of our
inquiries - often citing specific texts or experiences. In an hour and a half she had Reggie dropping to the ground
in a "down" in the presence of the baby like a soldier at basic training. It's obvious to me that she not only is
extremely knowledgeable when it comes to training dogs, but also that she has the skills to put that knowledge into
practical use for even the most challenging of dogs. We now have a renewed sense of purpose when it comes to
training Reggie, and while we still have a ways to go, we have already seen noticeable improvement as we continue
to stick with Carol's suggested training regimen. We also appreciated how Carol stressed the safety aspect of never
leaving dog and baby alone. It's easy to get lazy that way when you "trust" your dog, and Carol left no doubt in
our minds that we should never do that.
I'm sure I speak for my wife, son, and dog when I say we'd unreservedly recommend Carol's services to anyone who
was worried about bringing a baby into a home with even the wildest of dogs.
It's just such a pleasure to work with someone so clearly a perfect fit for what she does. If there is
anything I can do to help others get the same help I feel absolutely obligated to do so. We'd been in
tears(literally) trying to come to grips with how we could manage keeping Reggie in the house and raising our
son. Sometimes you get so overwhelmed with a situation that you can't even try to come up with any more
solutions. We were in that place and she pulled us out of it. Thanks again!

Hi, Carol. We really enjoyed our time with you on Sunday and after you left immediately went to PetValu
and bought the Easy Walk harness and treats that you were giving Ty when you were here. You might think that
I am crazy but I can already see an improvement in his behavior. The harness is amazing (well worth the cost)
and I have been walking Ty with it and it is an entirely different walk when he is wearing it. I think
that he is more relaxed with it on.....maybe he feels more secure........ who knows. We have also been
practicing sit, stay and holding the treats out so that he looks at me. It is actually fun for both him and
me so that is a positive thing. We certainly have a ways to go but this is a very good first step.
We will keep working on everything that we talked about and I will let you know how we are progressing.

| Hi Carol. I just wanted to say a quick thank you. It was a pleasure to
meet you and I really enjoyed the training guide you brought. Bruno and I especially like the
fact that I can relax on our walks and not worry about keeping him 'behind' me. After the first
few minutes of the walk he is falling into position naturally anyway now. And its good to know
I'm on the right track while I have triple the company. The reward based leadership is definitely
helping keep things calm. Thanks again! |
